I'm Rilee, a Kansas City-based visual storyteller, award-winning photojournalist, and FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot with a passion for creating content that connects with people.

I started my career at KCTV5 in June 2025, stepping into my first newsroom with a camera, a willingness to learn, and a lot of stories to tell. Since then, I've covered everything from severe weather and breaking news to professional sports and the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Along the way, my work has earned two Mid-America Regional Emmy nominations and multiple state broadcasting awards.

Outside the newsroom, I run my own photography business, Rilee Malloy Photo, where I handle everything from creative direction and photography to branding, social media, and marketing.

What I enjoy most is finding the story behind what I'm creating. Whether I'm producing a video, photographing an event, or developing content for a brand, I love the challenge of turning an idea into something people want to watch, share, and remember.
